Re: How to set up multiple channel speaker system

- Probably the most common arrangement is to have three stereo pairs of active studio monitors for the 'front' speakers, another single pair for the 'rear' speakers, plus a sub-woofer. That would require four pairs of speakers in total, plus a sub-woofer, plus an audio interface with at least nine ...

Re: OPUS II - my new Hauptwerk console

Congratulations, great MIDI console. A reference.

About the pedalboard, I see that the front of the sharps appears to be disposed on a right line instead of an arc, as it would be expected under ergonomics AGO or BDO specs.

Kind regards

Re: Uncontrollable crackle and pops noises

I'll check what you suggest and I'll report here my findings. I suspect also there is some grounding issue, but I have no idea about how to fix it. And it's a mistery why my airphones sessions runs so well while the problem arises only when I use the speakers. It has been the same with two different ...

Uncontrollable crackle and pops noises

Hello, friends. My setup is a 3K + P homemade VPO, a Mac Mini, stereo pasive audio system, thumb and toe pistons and two swells. Whenever I connect my airphones direct to the Mac Mini, I enjoy the pure sounds of my samplesets, no problems at all. But when I plug my stereo amplifier or my home ...

Why so much channels?

Hello, dear friends. My Hauptwerk experience is limited to configure stereo setups for the free ed. And I figure out anything by addressing all keyboards (up to three) and pedalboard to channel 1. I'd like to understand the need and benefit of using further channels. Thanks in advance and kind ...

Unable to uninstall Hauptwerk 4.0

Hello, friends, I no longer need Hauptwerk 4.0 in my office computer, running Windows 7, because I installed it in a dedicated MacMini for my setup. In trying to uninstall it through the Control Panel, it is displayed a message saying: "Windows Error 2 occured while loading the Java VM", and I can´t ...

Re: How to reduce the resolution of the crescendo pedal?

Is there a reason you aren't using the sequencer which is meant for that of thing? Using the crescendo pedal I think you could just duplicate each registration in the next 6 or 7 stages. Presumably you could hear the change each time and wouldn't have to be too precise. Hi, thanks for taking part ...

How to reduce the resolution of the crescendo pedal?

Hello, friends. I checked the FAQ's, this forum and the Hauptwerk Guide but I didn't found the answer I´m looking for. To play my current piece takes 4 different registrations, which I'm storing in the stages 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the 31 available. But the movement of the MIDI expression pedal (or swell ...

Re: Unable to get sound through Reaper

Thanks, Martin and organsRgreat, but I remain unsuccessful in setting Reaper, even following closely your advice. Anyway I tried Cantabile 3.0, which worked very well since the beginning. So I'm glad with it for the moment.
Cheers!

Unable to get sound through Reaper

Hi to all. I followed closely the instructions of the Hauptwerk's guide "Using Reaper for Real Time Reverb". I get the level meters moving when a key is clicked, having the stops turned on. But there is not any sound from the speakers. I checked that output from VST is MIDI and the HW 01/02 Record ...

Re: "All Essentials Covered", new 2K+P in Caracas

I don't suppose you have any plans or drawings for that console that you'd be willing to share do you? I'm looking to make something similar (and I know you sell them, but being on a whole other continent from you, I'm unlikely to be able to order one!) for home... I didn't see your post so far. I ...

Re: First HAUPTWERK project in a French Church

That's an exemplary project in every respect. There is much to admire and learn from it. Particularly I'm fond of the tablets embedded in the console. Great low-costs solution! In order to have my own tablet working as a monitor, I found an application called USB Mobile Monitor. Did you use that ...
