Martin, somehow I seem to have solved the problem. I wouldn’t even be able to remember what I did, but somehow I found a listing for v7 that allowed me to deactivate it again, which I did. Right-clicking on it gives the option to activate, but not de-activate.

Thanks. I emailed him about the problem last night, but he basically said the same as you. One thing I just discovered is that under “available “ v7 is listed. It says 0 out of 1 activations used. It gives me the option to activate, but I don’t know what code I’d use.

Martin,

The v7 version no longer appears in the list. I just deactivated v8. When I try to activate it, I get an error message saying that that code has already been redeemed. So now I have no activation code at all, and HW cannot be used.

I meant to say that I deactivated v7. It no longer appears in the license list.

Hi Martin,

The problem is that I did reactivate the v7 license, and it’s no longer there, so I don’t know what to do now. Would it work to deactivate v8 and reactivate it again? Or would there be a possibility of getting a new activation code?

Thanks. I’ve never had a trial version, and the receipt for yesterday’s order definitely shows that I ordered what I was intending to. I’ve also emailed François directly; maybe he can help me sort it out.

ILok license question

Hi,

I purchased the upgrade perpetual license v7 to perpetual license v8 and activated the license. However, I just noticed that in iLok it’s listed as expiring on August 29. How should ideal with this?
