Hi All,
I developed a little application (for windows 64 bit), named DoMidi. It's a virtual Midi controller, perfect for controlling Hauptwerk with small (or bigger) touchscreens.
Today the béta version is released. Please do try the free trial version and let me know what you think, or if you find any bugs or application errors.
See my website: http://www.donausoft.nl/index.php?page=domidi
Download trial version: http://www.donausoft.nl/uploads/domidi/ ... -setup.exe
The installation contains an english manual.
Here's a 7" screenshot of DoMidi with a demo StAnnesMoseley layout...

Re: DoMidi virtual Midi controller
Interesting idea.
But the installation failed on my computer: Error opening files writing appears for each items to install and I had to abandon. My PC works with Windows 7 (French version) in 64 bits.

Re: DoMidi virtual Midi controller
Thanks for the tip, it works now. I will test it during the week-end and return to you for a feedback.
Cordially.

Re: DoMidi 1.0 almost ready (see preview!)

Re: DoMidi 1.0 almost ready (see preview!)
It took some time, but finally version 1.0 is done...
Download version 1.0 here: http://www.donausoft.nl/index.php?page=domidi
New in version 1.0:
1) Ability to use images for buttons, displats, labels and sliders (text runs over the image)
2) Swipe to turn on/off multiple stops at once
3) Function to switch between the default layout (loaded on startup) and the current organ layout. With one button these layouts can be switched. With this function there is a lot of space saving (especially with little touchscreens like 7"), and in the end you need "less" screen. See below screenshots.
4) Copy styling of one control (eg button) to multiple controls
5) Performance improvements by buffering images
6) little BUGfix with auto-saving
7) Installation is improved, now suitable for 64-bit Windows 7 and Windows 8
Dutch manual added
See here for extensive release notes:
http://www.donausoft.nl/uploads/domidi/ ... -notes.txt
---
With DoMidi 1.0 a new standard layout for StAnnesMosely is added, which is handy for testing DoMidi without creating an organ layout. See below screenshot of the current default main layout and the default StAnnesMoseley layout...
On both layouts you see a bleu button, labeled "Organ" and "Menu". This is a switchbutton (new function, see point 3 above), which can be use to switch between the Default layout (main screen) and the Organ layout, with only one button press. The Default layout (main screen) can than be used for main functionallity, like selecting sampleset, recording, etc... With this you can use the whole screen in the Organ layout for organstops, and other functions you need directly while playing. So your screen can be used more efficiently. This way (in my opinion) a big sampleset can be played using only two 7" touchscreens (or 8" or 10").

If someone has any questions about DoMidi, let me know: domidi@donausoft.nl. Setting up DoMidi is maybe not the most easy program, but when it runs it works perfect. And it's always easier than making and midifying (soldering) of hardware stops.

Re: DoMidi 1.0 released (ready for download)
Noorlander and Content offer instruments with its own surface. Does anyone know how this surface was created?

Is there a software similar to DoMIDI for Mac also?
Kind regards

Re: DoMidi 1.0 released (ready for download)
@Sven
I don't know if there is similar software for iOS. DoMidi is not yet available for iOS and I don't think it will be any time soon. I do have seen solutions with app Lemur on iPad, but I don't know if that is also possible on Mac.
If you have any questions on setting DoMidi up, let me know, I will try and help where possible.
