Floating keyboards in HW9

I have jumped from HW7 to HW9. Very good!
I have 2 keyboards and pedal. So I need to set up floating keyboards with nearly every installation.

I never float the pedal keyboard or the Great which I always set up as the bottom keyboard.
That leaves my top keyboard to float between 2, 3 or even 4 divisions.
I mastered keyboard floating in HW7 with no problems.
But I can't work out what to do in HW9, and I can't find what I want in the user manual.
I end up going round in circles, sometimes no keyboards playing, sometimes all divisions playing all the time.

Can someone set out simply what I need to do in the correct ORDER?

from the touch menu, navigate to
Settings -> Keyboards

Hello Stephen,

Thanks very much for upgrading to v9.

There's actually no difference in how floating divisions work or are configured in v9 vs. v7, except that:

- The option to disable floating divisions needs to be kept unticked (it's unticked by default for upgrades) on the "Settings | General: Preferences" screen.

- Everything relevant to using or configuring floating divisions has been moved to the "Registration | Floating" touch menu tab. (Some common controls are also duplicated on the 'Overview' tab for convenience.)

- The section that covers how to use and configure floating divisions has been moved to the Advanced User Guide (accessible via the 'Other' tab on the touch menu; pages 21-28 in the current v9.0.0 version).

From Martin ....
